Payment – Direct Bookings:

• 50% deposit is required at the time of reservation
• Balance is payable 60 days prior to arrival
• 100% payment is required if the booking is within 60 days of travel

Cancellation:

• 50% cancellation if cancelled outside of 60 days of arrival
• 100% cancellation if cancelled within 60 days of arrival

Rate:

• This rate is based on per person sharing
• Excludes Conservation fee of R210 per person per night
• This rate is not combinable with any other offers
• This rate includes all items specified, but excludes all other additional items of a personal nature.

A Conservation Levy is now deemed essential to assist in the significant costs associated with our multi-layered anti-poaching measures on Amakhala Game Reserve. The following levy will apply for all reservations.

*Adults- R140 per person per night.
*Children under 12years - R70 per person per night

The Levy will be charged to the guest’s overall bill and paid at check-out. We thank you for your help in supporting this initiative.

Rates as set out above are quoted:

• Safari Tents Double: Per person sharing on a fully-inclusive basis.
• Inclusive of 15% VAT and all tourism levies.
• Children sharing a room with parents pay 50% of the per person rate fully-inclusive.
• Children aged 6 and younger are not permitted on game drives unless a private vehicle has been booked.

Please note:

• The above rates are rack rates and are subject to an agreed commission.
• HillsNek Safaris retains the right to amend rates and terms without notice.

Payment & Cancellation Policies

• Please note that all bookings & cancellations need to be done in writing.
•  Reservations made at short notice must be confirmed by full payment within 48 hours.
• Reservations are confirmed on full deposit payment of 100% of value of booking, payable within 30 days from date of confirmation.
• For bookings cancelled 60 days or less, prior to arrival, the full amount for accommodation will be forfeited.
• For bookings cancelled greater than 60 days prior to arrival, 50% of the deposit will be forfeited.
•  In the event of non-arrival, the full amount for accommodation will be forfeited.
• Refunds and waivers of the cancellation policy are at the discretion of the owners and specifically at the owner’s ability to re-let the accommodation reserved and reservations will be released automatically & without notification if these payment conditions are not met.
