WHAT'S INCLUDED
• Accommodation, all meals, soft drinks, mineral water, coffee, tea, and local beer & wine
• Water-based game viewing and bird watching on tender boats
• A land-based cultural tour of a local village
• Tiger & bream fishing in season (tiger fishing is strictly catch and release)
• Road Transfers to and from Kasane Airport and Kasane Immigration Office located on the Botswana side of the Chobe river*
• Boat transfers between Kasane Immigration Office in Botswana and Namibia Immigration Office*
*When arriving at the Kasane and Namibian Immigration Offices guests need to fill in the required immigration forms to gain access and departure permission from the relevant authorities. This process can take between 45 to 60 minutes to complete and needs to be considered in terms of timing and pre-planning when coming to stay on the Zambezi Queen.
WHAT'S EXCLUDED
• Air tickets and visa fees
• Premium alcoholic beverages (such as sparkling wine, spirits & dessert), curio store purchases and gratuities (discretionary)
• Community development levy. The Community Development Levy will reflect as a separate line item on all invoices issued.The funds collected go towards anti-poaching, uplifting local communities and conserving cultural heritage for future generations. Rates for 2024 is ZAR 150, and for 2025 is ZAR 250 per person per night.
Conditions
CHILD POLICY
• Children aged 13 years and older are welcome onboard and are subject to adult rates
• A 30% single supplement applies to single children
• Standard suites 24 and 26 on the Zambezi Queen are triple rooms which offer a third single bed which can be used for either a third adult or one child. A third person sharing a triple room will receive a 20% discount on the per person sharing rate.
• Please note that no baby sitting services, separate activities or menus are available for children
PAYMENT TERMS
• Provisional reservations will be held for a maximum of 14 days, thereafter it will be automatically released
• Any discrepancies on the confirmation or invoice must be addressed with reservations within 7 days of issue
• The full balance payment is due 60 days prior to arrival
• Reservations made less than 60 days prior to arrival will require full prepayment at time of booking
• Subject to a 30% supplement for cabins occupied by one adult (limited availability per trip)
FIT (1 – 7 PAX)
• 30% deposit is due within 7 days of invoice date
Group (8 – 26 PAX)
• 10% deposit payment is due within 7 days of invoice date
• A further 40% deposit is due 180 days prior to arrival
Tour Series (minimum of 8 PAX for 3 + trips per year)
• 10% deposit is due 240 days prior to arrival
• A further 40% deposit is due 180 days prior to arrival
CANCELLATION POLICY
• Only written cancellations will be accepted. An acknowledgement of the cancellation will be sent from the reservations department
• Zambezi Queen reserves the right to release bookings should payment not be received by the requested date
FIT (1 – 7 PAX)
• 30% of fee if cancellation is less than 120 days prior to arrival
• 100% of fee if cancellation is less than 60 days prior to arrival
Group (8 – 26 PAX)
• 10% of fee if cancellation is less than 240 days prior to arrival
• 50% of fee if cancellation is less than 180 days prior to arrival
• 100% of fee if cancellation is less than 60 days prior to arrival
Tour Series (minimum of 8 PAX for 3 + trips per year)
• 100% of fee if cancellation is less than 240 days prior to arrival
