1. Reservation confirmation and payment terms
All reservation requests must be received in writing by email.
Bookings will be deemed provisional until a deposit of at least 25% of the total invoice value is received or unless otherwise agreed in writing at the time of reservation. On receipt of the deposit the booking will be regarded as confirmed.
The balance between the deposit and the total invoice value must be received at least 30 days prior to the arrival date.
Proof of payment should be emailed to us detailing the company name, reservation name and number, date of deposit and amount paid.
All guests are required to sign an indemnity form on arrival at the lodge.
2. Reservation information requirements
At the time of the initial reservation request a rooming list detailing the guest’s names should be advised.
30 days prior to the arrival date the following details should be provided:
A final rooming list detailing clients full names, ages and nationality.
Dietary requirements.
Full arrival and departure details.
Any special request.
3. Cancellation policy
0 – 30 days = 100% of due payment
31 or more = 25% of due payment (suggested deposit)
4. Children policy
The lodge will accept children of any age however children below the age of 16 are by special arrangement as we have to be sensitive to the requirements of all our lodge guests. As our lodge is in an unfenced wildlife area children should be under the care of a parent/guardian at all times.
Extra beds are provided for a child/children sharing the room with an adult. (See family rates)
5. Pilot/Guide accommodation
Pilots, guides and tour leaders will be accommodated in the designated pilots/guides room and not in the chalets or safari tents, unless the pilots/guides room is either unavailable or occupied.
6. Travel insurance
All guests must be covered by their own independent and fully comprehensive travel and medical insurance policy valid for the full period of their stay at the lodge.
