Mukambi Safaris offers three magnificent camps in Kafue National Park, one of the largest areas of unspoiled wilderness. Each camp has its own character and style in different areas of the National Park, making them completely....unique by nature.

We offer an attractive package where you can visit both Mukambi Safari Lodge as well as Fig Tree Bush Camp.

All packages include accommodation, meals, drinks, activities and transfers between the camps.

- Transfers to and from Mukambi are not included. These can be booked on request.

- National Park fees and levies are excluded. These can be invoiced and paid in advance on request. 

Package extensions (extra nights for camps included in packages can be booked at reduced rates). Extra night Mukambi or Fig Tree USD 310.

Road transfers:
Return from Lusaka to Mukambi per person USD 200 (min 2 persons). One way Lusaka-Mukambi or vice versa per person USD 125 (min 2 persons). Fly in/out Chunga-Lusaka (airstrip close to Mukambi/Fig Tree) USD 550 (min 3 persons, bigger groups get discount). Other flights to or from other destinations on request.

Booking Information: 

-    Regrettably no children under 12 are allowed to Fig Tree.

-    All rates are inclusive of VAT and quoted in US$ per person per night sharing. A single supplement of 30% applies.

-    Master/Visa/Amex welcome (3% handling fee payable).

-    National Park fees are excluded as these are subject to change; please enquire directly with the lodge for park fee rates. National Parks accept cash only (US$ or Kwacha).   

Booking and cancellation policy:

-    Provisional bookings will generally be held for 14 days. Without confirmation (i.e. a deposit paid) the booking will automatically be released after 14 days unless otherwise agreed.

-    Payment in full required 30 days before travel unless otherwise arranged.

-    Once you are ready to make a booking with us, we ask for a 25% deposit on safari package bookings or a 50% deposit on accommodation only bookings in order to confirm and hold the space for you.

-    Our cancellation policy is as follows: Cancellation before 91 days of your safari - no charge. Cancellation between 91 – 30 days before your safari – 25% cancellation fee. Cancellation within 30 days before your safari – 100% cancellation fee

-    Please make sure you have adequate travel insurance to cover you, just in case something unexpected happens. We also recommend that guests have full medical evacuation insurance cover as we are by choice in remote part of a remote country and the nearest local hospital is two hours away and has limited facilities.

The transfer between Mukambi Fig Tree is 1hr 30 minutes through the National Park.
