Sweet Thorn Retreat Airport Lodge

The main lodge is situated further away from the river, its elevation offers a greater view of the Seeis Valley and surrounding Finkenstein Mountains. This facility has ten en-suite bedrooms with cooling and television. Seven rooms are outside the main building. Three rooms are inside the lodge building. One room has 2 double beds, One room has two 3/4 size beds and one has twin beds. All have en-suite shower facilities. The dining area has a fully stocked bar and overlooks the pool area. Above this is an open viewing deck for guests to enjoy sundowners and stargazing. Quite often some of the antelope (waterbuck, blesbuck and springbuck) can be seen down at the floodlit waterhole. We offer seven fully equiped 'Meeru' tents and three spacious campsites. There is plenty shading and a splash pool for children plus a small playground where the youngsters can be entertained while adults enjoy an afternoon barbecue."
