Katambuga House is an elegant and stylish eight-room lodge set on expansive grounds on the Endurance Estate near Arusha. With attention to detail, caring staff offering excellent dining, Katambuga House is a destination in its own right.

The lodge sits in an area of expansive tropical gardens. The peaceful location and welcoming pool will restore your sense of inner calm. You can see countless indigenous birds while you stroll through the gardens and fields, with Mount Meru dominating the skyline to the north. 

Katambuga House offers accommodation for the safari and business traveler alike and is within a 5-minute drive of Arusha’s domestic airport. Arusha town is within easy reach of the lodge, and it serves perfectly as a starting point for a safari to the famous national parks of Tanzania.

Casually elegant, the cozy main house features a selection of original photography and African art. The main house features four bedrooms, each with its private bathroom. The adjacent two cottages in the garden offer additional two interconnecting rooms each, all with private bathrooms. Large king-size beds or twin queen-size beds are available. Katambuga House welcomes up to 20 guests and can be booked on a private basis

The stylishly decorated rooms offer a high standard of accommodation and service. All rooms open up to covered verandas, furnished with lounging chairs, overlooking the tropical gardens and the grand views further afield, making for a perfect place to relax before or after a safari. Airy and well-lit, the rooms offer all amenities to make your stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. You will find in all the rooms an electric combination safe, ceiling fans, mosquito nets, a writing desk, and a comfortable sitting corner.

All overnight stays include a full breakfast served in the main dining room and we provide our guests with unlimited fresh drinking water, fresh linens and room towels, pool towels, WiiFi and laundry service on request.

Located less than 10 minutes drive from Arusha airport; the lodge is perfectly situated as a starting point for a North Tanzanian safari.
