Gateway to the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park

The meaning of our farm's name,  "red earth",  not only says where we live,  but also explains our love and passion for where we live and what we do here.

We are an ordinary Namibian farm,  accommodating farm animals,  wildlife and beautiful birds.  We are situated  next to road C15,  only 45 km's from the Mata Mata gate of the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. Ideal for stopovers or dayvisits to the Park.

The campsite,  Meerkat Manor,  as well as the bungalows are on the banks of the dry Auob river,  all covered with huge camelthorn trees.  This is a relaxing,  quiet farm where you can walk barefoot in the warm,  sunny red sand of the Kalahari.

The bungalow has two single beds and a double in one room with an open plan kitchen with stove, fridge, kettle, microwave and cutlery. The bathroom is en-suite and has a bathtub with shower in the bath. Outside is a barbeque place and a patio.

Lapa

The thatched roof lapa is next to the main house, airconditioned and has a queen size bed with a futon. It has a private barbeque area and wash-up place outside. This bungalow does not have a kitchen, only bar fridge, microwave, kettle and cutlery. The bathroom is en-suite and has a shower.
