Early morning pick up from your Adelaide hotel for a scenic coach journey to Cape Jervis to connect with Sea Link's ferry for the 45 minute crossing to Kangaroo Island
On arrival at Penneshaw or Kingscote Airport you will be met by your local guide and your island nature experience begins with an intro to Kangaroo Island
Tour through several island habitats and see wildlife in its natural environment

Listen to the distinct sounds of the native bird life as they chorus from the tall eucalyptus trees

As you travel the island, keep an eye out for echidnas, wallabies, reptiles and wildflowers

At the spectacular Seal Bay Conservation Park, your guide will escort you on a memorable walk along the beach
Walk among the sea lions as they bask on the beach or among the sand dunes after their extensive fishing expedition
With your guide, you are able to stand at a safe distance to these wonderful endangered creatures and hear them sigh and watch them play

Enter our exclusive Heritage-listed natural bush property to enjoy a delicious gourmet picnic style lunch with South Australian wine

Follow your lunch with a pleasant bush walk looking out for koalas in the eucalyptus trees

Travel through the island's interior keeping an eye out for the koalas and echidnas
Explore the spectacular beaches and enjoy a bush walk - Listen for Australia's rarest cockatoo & watch out for the Tammar Wallaby with its small fine features

Later in the afternoon - As the day draws to a close - See the Kangaroos leave the safety of the bush to begin grazing on the open pastures

Your'e tour concludes at your accommodation for your overnight stay on Kangaroo Island

Activities and Services

This morning we travel to the western section of the island and discover the Flinders Chase National Park - One of the oldest and most important national parks in South Australia

Enjoy the opportunity to walk through the park in search for kangaroos, wallabies and a variety of birdlife

See at close range some of the 10,00 healthy Long-nosed Fur Seals in their colony at Cape du Couedic and discover the formation of the Remarkable Rocks
At Admirals Arch, see where the powerful forces of natural have cut through the headland to create this natural geological formation
If time permits visit Point Ellen at Vivonne Bay & your tour concludes at your accommodation

Recommended Activities

By special permit, enter the Kelly Hill Conservation Park to see kangaroos and other native wildlife emerge from the safety of the bush land to graze on to the open plains

Activities and Services

Travel with Kangaroo Island Marine adventures & witness some amazing coastal formations - Learn from our highly skilled guides and skipper about the ecology of the north coast and its features
Get the chance to view dolphins in their natural environment as we pass through their relaxation areas
For those that want a closer look - Use our Snorkel gear and jump into the dolphins' environment for a swim
You are completely free to swim around, no ropes, no boundaries - Or for those that dont want to get wet, sit back and enjoy the view
Upon return - Enjoy a gourmet picnic style lunch featuring the delicious local produce of Kangaroo Island along with local wine

After lunch - Travel a short distance to the Island Estate Vineyards for an intimate guided wine tasting experience in their Cygnet River tasting room

Next, visit Kangaroo Island Spirits, a local company that specializes in handcrafted premium Australian spirits and is South Australia's only boutique distillery
As we head back into the main township of Kingscote, we'll drop in at Island Beehive for a tour and tastings of the organic Kangaroo Island Honey - Which is World Renowned

Optional Activities

Your'e tour concludes at either Kignscote Airport for your return flight to Adelaide or at Penneshaw in time for the return ferry to the mainland and coach transfer to Adelaide
