9 Days - 'Virunga Gorilla, Nyiragongo & Serengeti Migration Experience'

Introduction

This 9 DAY - Gorilla, Nyiragongo & Epic Migration Experience includes three unique (bucket list) experiences in two world famous African National Parks.

Inspired Journeys will take you into the heart of Virunga National Park in the D.R.C, known as Africa’s oldest national park and a UNESCO world heritage site due to its immense biodiversity.

Here you will encounter two considerable gems hidden within its boundaries;

The endangered Mountain Gorillas and the world’s largest lava lake found atop the Nyiragongo volcano. Those who are prepared to make the journey will be rewarded with once in a lifetime memories, sitting in the presence of these gentle giants and staring into the fiery depths of the earth. Quite possibly one of the most life changing destinations to encounter.

From the jungles of the D.R.C to the vast savannah plains of Serengeti National Park in Tanzania, your adventure will continue. The Serengeti is comprised of 1.5 million hectares of savannah, and home to one of the most impressive nature spectacles in the world (as seen often on National Geographic) - the annual migration of two million wildebeests, plus hundreds of thousands of gazelles and zebras - followed by their predators. The Serengeti is also a refuge to four more globally threatened or endangered animal species: the black rhinoceros, elephant, wild dog, and cheetah.

This trip will leave you 'beating' your chest with pride, and 'roaring' about the animal kingdom.

By booking a trip to Virunga & Serengeti National Park, you are directly contributing to the protection of these  two World Heritage Sites and providing a brighter future for the surrounding communities.
