This bird safari focuses on the African Pitta - the holy grail of birds.
There are also abundant game viewing opportunities (buffalo, elephant, lion) in this area also and these can run parallel to birding safaris.

Ease of birding :Many birds will be easy to locate and see whilst the African Pitta is seasonal and has a specific habitat prior to breeding so it is vital that one visits the specified locations with a training birding guide in order to be sure of locating this incredible bird.
