Tanzania is one of Africa's finest safari regions and ideal for photographers seeking impressive landscapes and wow factor wildlife. Each guest gets an entire row in a custom built 4x4 for maximum comfort so that means there will be two 4WDs travel together throughout and Mark splits his time between the vehicles.
This time of year the great wildebeest migration is located in the central Serengeti area with the massive herds grazing on grass plains and predators always abound.
Iconic sights you see along the way are like a roll call - Arusha National Park (lesser known, hugely rewarding as your first experience), Tarangire National Park (famous for its landscapes and elephant population not to mention tree climbing lions of Tanzania), Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti and Lake Manyara.
With maximum capacity of 8, you won't want to miss this trip! And if you like, combine it with Trekabout's Madagascar journey for complete contrast.
The trip will only depart with minimum 4 guests, maximum 8 guests
Price is per person and a single supplement applies
There are two 4x4 custom built vehicles for superior game viewing and photography
Each vehicle has a professional safari guide
Mark the photographer will move between the two vehicles to ensure all guests have time with him
In camp you will review photos and chat about and share learnings
This time of year the great migration is on the central plains of the Serengeti NOT river crossing.
Predator sightings are frequent with lion, cheetah and leopard if you're lucky! They are the most elusive of the cats.
