11 Day West Coast & Kalahari Expedition

We explore the western parts of South Africa, where the land is more arid, but nonetheless spectacular. From the West Coast, where a rich marine life is found, the land is a mixture of farms and fantastic wilderness areas, scenic drives, historical settler towns, and in the Spring months, an incredible full bloom of flowers paints the countryside. Moving up to the border of Namibia, we travel along the Orange River; the life-source in this arid landscape which gives unusual wildlife and plants sustenance. We head into the Kalahari, where an abundance of wild animals thrives along ancient river lines. Lastly we experience the Karoo, a vast landscape that stretches for miles beneath the clearest starry skies and the sound of silence.
