8 Days - Zanzibar Beach Safari

This Zanzibar Beach Safari includes a unique experience in TWO UNESCO World Heritage Sites:

1. Stonetown 
2. Serengeti National Park

On arrival in Zanzibar, you will stay one night in Stonetown, 

*A city of prominent historical and artistic importance in East Africa. Its architecture, mostly dating back to the 19th century, reflects the diverse influences underlying the Swahili culture, giving a unique mixture of Arab, Persian, Indian and European elements. For this reason, the town was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2000.

On this afternoon / evening you can explore this interesting city, enjoying great food and a sundowner cocktail from one of the many rooftop bars!

You will then transfer via an internal flight arranged through Inspired Journeys to Serengeti National Park, where you will have 2 nights and 1 full day to enjoy game drives across the vast plains of the savannah and watch bush TV around the campfire - under the stars of yet another UNESCO World Heritage Site.

*Home to one of the most impressive nature spectacles in the world (as seen often on National Geographic) - the annual migration of two million wildebeests, plus hundreds of thousands of gazelles and zebras - followed by their predators. The Serengeti is also a refuge to four more globally threatened or endangered animal species: the black rhinoceros, elephant, wild dog, and cheetah.  

After your bush safari, you will return to Zanzibar for the remainder of your trip to enjoy a fabulous beach holiday on the finest white, sandy beach on the east coast of the Spice Island. Set in 30-acres of tropical gardens with over 1,000 palm trees.

There are many exciting adventures to be had on the island, from cultural and historical tours, marine park explorations, boat rides, snorkelling, diving and kite surfing... or simply relaxing on the beach - soaking in the Indian Ocean sun rays.
