We start our day departing from your hotel heading for Table Mountain or Signal Hill (if the Cape Town weather decides act out of our favor). From the top enjoy a beautiful gaze over our Mother City with your guide pointing out some of the highlighted views. Back at the bottom we make our way through the city , as you are taken back to the bygone colonial era, as your guide reveals the history that began South Africa`s most beautiful city. A trip to a museum is next with the options of visiting one of the many that offer a depth of insight into our diverse and fascinating history.
Ease your way through the company gardens, the nucleus of our city, with pigeons, geese and squirrels criss crossing your path. Experience twelve o`clock with a bit of a bang by listening out forthe firing of the noon gun cannon (except for Sunday and Public Holidays) We then drive out through cobbled and colorful streets of the iconic Bo-Kaap before heading on route to the V&A Waterfront for the Robben Island Nelson Mandela Gateway
After the 30 minute ferry ride across Table Bay, you will board a bus for a tour around the island before being taken inside the actual prison and hosted by an ex-political prisoner who will regale you with personal stories from their days spent incarcerated on the island. One of the highlights is being able to view Nelson Mandela's actual cell and take a moment to imagine the greatness of "Madiba" who, once released was able to steer our country through its first ever democratic elections in 1994.
