The Juma Opera is a high-end historical boutique hotel opened on February 2020. It is located in the center of Manaus, in front of the Amazonas Opera House, the tourist hotspot of the city. The hotel is also located nearby the Palace of Justice and the Church of St. Sebastian, a contemporary jewel to the Amazonas Opera House, both from the late 19th century. Designed by the renowned architect Roberto Vinograd, the hotel facade harmonizes with the historical buildings of the square. Part of the construction is also from the same Belle Époque period and accredited by the "Instituto do Patrimônio Histórico e Artístico Nacional (IPHAN)". At the beginning of the 20th century, Theodore Roosevelt during his Amazon expedition with Marshall Rondon was a guest at the house, then the American Consulate.
