Wander along the lesser-known trails above Cusco to discover ancient Inca sites tucked into the highland landscape. From the stone remains of Puka Pukara to the wildflower-dotted valley of Tambomachay, this walk unfolds with quiet beauty. The highlight appears almost unexpectedly: Inkilltambo, a ceremonial complex once aligned with the stars and nestled into terraced hillsides. With carved altars, sacred caves, and intricate canals, it offers a glimpse into the Incas’ profound relationship with earth and sky. The path concludes at Huayracpunco, from where you will return to the city.

Please allow approximately three hours of hiking, including site visits, and four hours for the entire experience.
