Only 50 minutes from Uvita and Dominical beach, the Terraba and Sierpe rivers host the largest mangrove system in Costa Rica. Here on a boat safari you have the opportunity to observe a great diversity of ecosystems and their associated wildlife. Among the species that can be found are howler, white-faced and squirrel monkeys, crocodiles and caimans, a great variety of water birds, and huge mangrove trees! There is also time to see the little-known stones spheres of the Osa Peninsula, one of the biggest legacies of native Costa Ricans.
