Coto 47 is a mosaic of habitats that includes farmland, secondary forest, and the Las Pangas Wetlands, located in southern Costa Rica near the Panamanian border. This diverse landscape is an ideal destination for numerous bird species, including several that reach their northernmost distribution in Costa Rica, as well as many others associated with each of these distinct habitats.
