A cruise on the African Queen or the African Princess is an unforgettable experience that will take you back to an era when time stood still. The Zambezi River cruise is a superb way to relax and enjoy the beauty of the river. Guests may have the opportunity to see a variety of game including hippo, crocodile and elephant, and sometimes even rhino, as well as enjoy the many different bird species.

A minimum number for both the vessels is two guests and options may include:

Breakfast Cruise (by pre-arrangement only)
This cruise is perfect for the early riser and a wonderful opportunity for keen birders. Inclusive of a cooked breakfast, fruit, muffins, tea/coffee and orange juice, this is a beautiful time of day to be on the river as there are often fewer boats, which gives one a real sense of privacy. Duration approximately two hours.

Midmorning Cruise
On our midmorning cruise you will experience tranquillity at its best on the Zambezi River. Light snacks and pastries are served during the cruise. Duration approximately two hours.

Lunch Cruise
Lunch includes a variety of salads, fresh bread rolls, stir fried chicken, beef and vegetables, desserts, tea, coffee, beer, wine and soft drinks. All food is cooked on board on a ‘skottel braai’ (gas cooker) so it is served fresh and hot. Duration approximately one-and-a-half hours.

Sundowner Cruise
This is a popular cruise and includes finger snacks, beer, wine, sparkling wine and soft drinks. There are great photographic opportunities, often with spectacular African sunsets. Duration approximately two hours.
