After breakfast, depart at 8h00 with an Italian-speaking guide on a full day tour of the Cape Peninsula, inclusive of lunch and entrance fees for Seal Island Cruise, Cape Point Nature Reserve, The Funicular, Boulders Beach Penguins and Kirstenbosch Gardens (drinks excluded). This excursion will be operated on a private basis.

Travel along the Atlantic coast, en-route to Hout Bay, where you will be passing through the cosmopolitan suburbs of Green Point, Sea Point, Clifton, and Camps Bay. Take in the gleaming sea and vast mountain views along this picturesque drive.

In the charming little fishing village of Hout Bay, guests will embark on boat trip to Seal Island, where they will have the opportunity to view and befriend some Cape Fur Seals (weather and sea conditions permitting).

The journey continues via Chapman’s Peak, a stunning coastal drive, on your way to the Cape Point Nature Reserve. Here, guests can take The Flying Dutchman Funicular up to the lighthouse where they can enjoy the panoramic views and see the point at which the Benguela and Agulhas currents meet.

Continue onto Simon’s Town, a charming naval city overlooking False Bay, which is also home to a breeding colony of more than 2,000 endangered African Penguins. Wooden walkways allow visitors to enjoy close-up encounters with these fascinating creatures in their natural habitat. A lunch stop is made nearby.

We end the day off at the famous Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, which includes five of South Africa’s six different biomes. It is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful gardens in the world and is home to an incredible variety of plant and bird life.

The tour ends with a drop off at your hotel at approximately 17h30.
