Oxley students depart from Sitatunga Camp by boat on the Thamalakane River for a horse ride in the private game reserve (no predators!) attached to the Royal Tree Lodge outside Maun. Animals that can be seen during the horse ride include eland, kudu, giraffe, zebra, impala and wildebeest.
No previous riding skill is necessary but those who are competent riders will get an opportunity to enjoy themselves.
Students will be broken up into groups, one to ride and one to groom the horses, swapping over after an hour or so. There will be skilled and professional support at all times.
