The hike to Wayna Picchu begins near the citadel, following a narrow and steep path with your expert local guide. It calls for steady footing and caution, with views that open up gradually as you move higher into the mountain. From the summit, the perspective over Machu Picchu and the surrounding peaks is truly striking. The descent is taken at a slower pace, offering time to absorb the landscape from a new angle. It is an active experience that brings together challenge, history and a different way of connecting with the site.
Please allow up to two hours hiking and up to four hours for the entire experience. | You must show your passport in order to be allowed to enter Machu Picchu Citadel. | This experience is not recommended for travellers with limited mobility or fear of heights.
