Discover the lush Brazilian nature on this guided tour of the Tijuca Botanical Garden and Forest. Rio's green spaces await you!
We begin the visit to the Tijuca Forest, a beautiful green area in the center of Rio de Janeiro. We enter one of the largest urban forests in the world, where we can observe animals such as squirrels, monkeys or armadillos as well as various species of butterflies, birds and reptiles.
Then we return to our vehicle to reach the next stop. Along the way we stop at the Vista Chinesa viewpoint, the Taunay waterfall, the Mayrink chapel and another viewpoint, from where we can see the panorama from which the monolithic Pedra da Gávea and the statue of Christ the Redeemer can emerge. Finally we arrive at the Botanical Garden, where we will explore more than 7000 species of tropical plants. We visit Frei Landro Lake, the Japanese Garden and the Orchid Garden.
