Swartland 

The 'Die Swartland', or "the Black-land" as it translates to,  gathers its name from the type vegetation known as" Renosterveld" again a dutch/afrikaans translation meaning "Rhinoceros-field" due to the darkened plant life found in this region. Swarland has established its self as the next "big thing" in the Cape Winelands with many new and exciting estates being found here, with some exceptional wine

Wellington

Ask any South African about Wellington and the first thing they probably may mention is brandy, as this area is reputable for brandy production hosting a number of  distilleries  notably, Oude Wellingtion Brandy. Wine though,in this area is as  equally as good, as well as offering a more tranquil setting within the valley and surrounding mountains
