Enjoy a full day dedicated to our coastal wine regions, in the more cooler parts of our Cape wine country.
We travel along the N2 highway and first get to taste wines in the Helderberg region, before proceeding onwards to the Elgin and Grabouw valleys. Once in the Elgin we enjoy tasting notable varietals such as Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, which due to this unique 'terroir' take center stage as some of the best in the country.
The estates we visit in the Elgin valley are mostly owner operated and offer a way more relaxed, authentic and personal wine tasting experience. Do not be surprised if the owner, owner's wife or children, winemaker or even the family dog are there to welcome you and serve their fantastic cool climate wines. There is also the bustling & lively Elgin Railway Market (Wednesdays, Saturdays & Sundays only), Eversons cider tastings at famous Peregrine Farm Stall and the beautiful return sunset journey along Clarens Drive following the False Bay coastline with views across to Table Mountain and Cape Point to end off a fantastic day out.
