This full day tour begins with a three to four-hour trek through a beech forest, heading toward a wonderfully scenic lookout point high above the majestic Lake Acigami (formerly Lake Roca). As we hike, the spellbinding, diverse flora and fauna of this landscape, including the Magellanic woodpecker, is ever-present. The forest is also known to attract Austral Parakeets, Black-Chested Buzzards and soaring high above us; the magnificent Andean Condor. On reaching the viewpoint, beautiful panorama’s of Lagunas Verde and Negra, the Ovando and Lapataia Rivers, and the tranquil Lapataia Bay lie before us.  From here, we can then enjoy a well-earned lunch near to the border of Lapataia River. Lunch will be served with a great panoramic view from inside a heated dome-tent, to avoid wind or rain. in the camping area of Lake Acigami.

After a brief safety instruction near Lago Acigami, this afternoon we will take inflatable boats out on to the Ovando River, and are treated to some of the most beautiful views in the Park, while relaxing in the crystal-clear, quiet waters of Ovando River. As the paddle drifts into Laguna Verde, we enter one of the most picturesque spots in the region, surrounded by stunning scenery on all sides.

Approaching Lapataia Bay, our final destination, be prepared for families of resident Sea Petrels, Albatross, Steamer Ducks, and other seabirds species native to these shores. Having disembarked, we will then have time to relax and enjoy the early, southern sunset behind the mountains. This location, on the final few kilometres of the southernmost reaches of the Panamerican Road, really is the end of the world!

• 08:00/08:30 Pick up from the hotels.
• 09:00 Arrive National Park.
• 09:30 Trekking along the Coastal path -3 hours-; or differents short paths, according the passenger's choice.
• 12:30 Arrive Lapataia River and lunch.
• 13:45 Paddling technique briefing and canoe prompting -1 hour and a half.
• 15:15 Lapataia Bay.
• 15:45 Return to Ushuaia.
• 16:30 Arrive Ushuaia.

• Those who prefer a less demanding activity may choose to walk along a shorter/easier trail, if so please request the soft trek option in advance.
• All participants will be equipped with rubber boots, coverpants and lifejackets.
• If a participant does not want take the canoe ride, they can choose to reach Lapataia Bay by bus.
