Spend a day whale watching and wine tasting on this private full-day trip to Hermanus from Cape Town. See migrating Southern Right Whales off the coast of Hermanus from June through mid-December.   • Pick up from your hotel will be communicated to you 24 hours in advance which is usually around 06:30 AM, in a private vehicle and private tour guide driver. Prepare for an early morning pick up in Cape Town as we set off for our Hermanus Whale Watching Shared Boat Trip. Guests will be briefed about these ocean giants by an experienced qualified whale watching specialist. Guests will board a modern shared boat with toilet facilities and embark on a 2 to 3-hour sea excursion. As soon as a whale is spotted, the skipper will stop the boat so that everyone can see these amazing sea creatures up close. As time goes by, the skipper and crew members will try to spot more whales to maximize a full whale watching experience. After the boat trip, guests will return to the Harbour. Do this because: You will see whales of different types on this trip at close range The boat operated by an experienced skipper with live commentary Sample some top pinot noir and other varieties at a complimentary wine tasting Travel in a private vehicle to Hermanus with a guide-driver just for you and your party
  • This is an amazing stop on the itinerary, can be done in reverse before or after the whale watching boat trip. We will stop here to see thousands of endangered African Penguins at close range. Learn about these unique African birds on our guided tour.
  • Our top highlight of the day is the boat trip to see the whales, conducted our top supplier Southern Right Charters in one of the state of the art boat Miroshga or similar. Upon arrival, you will be required to sign in a consent form, then they will be a briefing from your skipper and a bit of educational lesson regarding the whales. then you will board the boat for a marine safari of 2 to 3 hours. Upon returning, you can purchase a video of your tour at the kiosk 
  • After this fascinating experience, your guide will show the town of Hermanus places of interests, then you will be taken in the valley of Hemel-en-Aarde meaning heaven on earth for complimentary wine tasting with the option of having lunch at the top winery such as creations, here you can do wine and food pairing at own account or just have lunch at a restaurant nearby-own account, soon after this experience, we will return to Cape Town using opposite direction, either scenic route R44 or the N2
  • End of the tour, return to Cape own via N2, optional stop for coffee at Peregrine Farm Stall at own account, top coffees around Cape Town are brewed here. You will be dropped off at your address in Cape Town....
