The picturesque Winelands region is a plethora of historical wine farms, quaint historical towns and vine-covered hills, and is home to some of South Africa's leading restaurants and boutiques.

The granite and sandstone mineral rich mountains and geography of this region provide various microclimates which are ideal for world class wine production.  Combine this with a rich history of winemaking thanks to the late 17th century French Huguenots, and the introduction of strong stock, and improved winemaking methods, a new generation of winemakers continue producing some outstanding wines that suite various palates year after year.

While undertaking a full days touring our guide will marry your specific palate, with the relevant wine estate and restaurant, this includes recommending and visiting any place that holds artistic, botanical, historical or cultural significance you may want to visit.
