The Cape Peninsula is synonymous with early sea fairing explorers. Once known as the Cape of Storms, it soon became known as the Cape of Good Hope, when the route to the East was discovered. Your private journey will be an exploration of this majestic coastline, along the Mountainous Twelve Apostles, relaxing coves and white beaches, to the furthermost outcrop .
While making your way to the South Western most tip of Africa, pass Hout Bay a source of wood for early colonialists and a historic fishing village. Transverse the famous Chapmans Peak to Cape Point Nature Reserve where you are able to visit the lighthouse at its tip. Two Ocean currents collide to showcase rich marine life such as the endemic African Penguin, while several green areas are dedicated to the preservation of unique fauna and flora to this landmass.
From the point of the Peninsula pass the quaint towns of Simons Town, Kalk Bay and Muizenberg on the False Bay coastline towards the Constantia region where the South African wine industry started. At the slopes of Skeleton gorge, part of the Table Mountain range lies Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens one of the worlds best.
