Start your day on a high note, discover the city’s colourful streets and stories, and dive into the marine world before ending with a scenic cycle by the sea.
Start your day with a scenic cable car ride up Table Mountain, enjoying panoramic views of the city and coast. At the top, take a short guided hike, spot dassies, explore rare fynbos, and learn about Cape Town’s history through vintage photographs. Pause for coffee and home-baked treats before descending to sea level.
Back in the city, explore Cape Town’s inner city highlights, from Company’s Garden to Greenmarket Square and St George’s Cathedral , discovering how food, design, and politics have shaped the city. Your guide will tailor stops to your interests, including the stories of District Six and Mandela’s first speech.
For lunch, head to a local favourite where kids can make their own pizzas or bread, a fun, hands-on break for all.
In the afternoon, visit the Two Oceans Aquarium at the V&A Waterfront. From sharks and jellyfish to penguins and the kelp forest, it’s a colourful, interactive experience perfect for curious minds. Don’t miss the feeding times and special exhibits.
Finish the day with an easy coastal cycle along the Sea Point Promenade. Choose from cruiser bikes for all ages and stop at public art installations that bring local stories to life, from rhino conservation to Robben Island’s legacy, bringing local stories to life in a kid-friendly, visual way.
