Nomad Adventures McGregor offers a variety of day and half day trips in the McGregor area, departing daily.
You will be touring the mountains and valleys in a South African build Jeep called a NOMAD, released in South Africa in the 70’s.
Our trips are mainly off road as the name suggests, of the beaten track but yet not too extreme to cater for all adventure seeking travelers. It is all about the open vehicle experience to appreciate the fauna and flora of the McGregor surroundings which offers stunning photo opportunities of nature and the culture of the area.
You are welcome to tailor your own trip for the day or half day or you can use the following as guidelines of what a typical day trip will include.
All tours must have a minimum of 2 people and maximum of 4 people, should you be just one person then the rate of two people will apply excluding the lunch or sundowner package. Pick up and drop off included for all guests saying the McGregor.

Vrolijkheid Nature Reserve

Touring up the mountain from McGregor to the end of the road to stop for refreshments at (Die Galg). Hike for 30 minutes up a mountain path to experience amazing views and to use the canvas for fantastic photo opportunities. , includes lunch (craft beer or glass of wine included) close to Vrolijkheid Nature Reserve. We then take the circle route back to McGregor from Vrolijkheid Nature Reserve. Includes a 2 hour hike in Vrolijkheid Nature Reserve and wine tasting at Lords Wineries, McGregor Wineries and Tanagra Wines.
