Trip Summary

In the morning, our private transportation and guide will pick you up at the agreed time in your hotel in Granada to visit the Mombacho Volcano Natural Reserve, located just 30 minutes away. Once you get there, you will board a 4x4 bus that will take you to the top of the volcano, passing by Hacienda Cafetalera El Progreso, where you will get a glimpse of one of the country’s main agricultural crops. At the summit, you will have the opportunity to explore one of the three trails in the reserve: El Cráter, which is 1.6 km.

Along this trail, you will experience the lush vegetation of the cloud forest, encounter unique flora and fauna, and enjoy stunning panoramic views of Lake Nicaragua, the Asese Archipelago, Granada City, Apoyo Lagoon, and more. Your private guide will accompany you throughout the tour, providing insights into the history, biodiversity, and significance of this remarkable place. After the tour, you will return to the city of Granada.
