Rooms
Uncover pure African warmth in one of our tastefully appointed en suite guest rooms. Rooms offer an elegantly designed place to rest, while furnished patios offer guests a peaceful setting to explore the senses, as you breathe in the surrounding nature, gaze upon pristine scenery and feel the rhythm of Africa.

Gardens
The 5 acres of verdant rolling gardens stretch down to the water on the boundary of the property. All new planting is indigenous and we are slowly removing the remaining exotics, in order to keep the garden as indigenous as possible. The flourishing old trees and succulent fruit attract many species of birdlife, for which Mkuze is well known, and the garden also features a bird hide and jetty for both birding and relaxing.

Swimming Pools
The hotel offers two pools. The larger of the two is situated in the garden in front of the hotel, surrounded by umbrellas and loungers where the second, a rock pool in a more secluded area of the Spa, offers a truly unique experience.

Dining
Seasonal Menus offering the freshest local ingredients combined with traditional favourites are served in the Dining Room, outdoors on the terrace or under the warm African sky in our traditional Boma.

Roy's Bar
A relaxed place to meet other travellers over a cocktail or gin and tonic, Roy’s bar is the perfect spot to unwind. Delight in a glass of wine from our award winning wine list whilst taking in a stunning view of the blooming gardens and swimming pool or simply sit back and enjoy the comfortable African decor.

Spa
Escape and be pampered at the Ghost Mountain Spa with a variety of body pampering treatments and soothing facials using distinctive spa therapies by well-trained staff. Enjoy two distinct spa product offerings – Terres d’Afrique is an organic skincare range created from African plant extracts and Dermalogica offers personalised solutions to a range of skin concerns. The spa features a steam room and relaxation area with private plunge pool to rest in between treatments. Those who prefer the relaxing sound of birdsong will love the glorious indigenous gardens.
