Trip Summary

Entice your senses and enliven your spirit on this 2-night stay at Leopard Mountain Safari Lodge in the Manyoni Private Game Reserve, only 3 hours from Durban and 6 hours from Johannesburg. All meals and 2 daily game drives are included.

Leopard Mountain Safari Lodge is intimate and exclusive.  The most breathtaking views in Zululand are seen here, from the meandering Msunduze River below to the distant Lebombo Mountains, where Africa's Great Rift Valley begins. Witness endless sunsets melting their final rays into the horizon, the smell of fresh rainfall over Africa's plains and a feeling of peace and tranquility as your African dream unfolds into a truly memorable reality. Wild animals roam freely over this vast wilderness providing spectacular game viewing and intimate encounters with some of Africa's most endangered species.

With only 8 luxury suites the lodge is able to guarantee personalised service. The rooms have air conditioners for hot days and are equipped with large, open showers that have incredible views over the valley below and are a light and spacious haven of peace and tranquility to relax and unwind in. By day, laze in your hammock or private plunge pool and watch the eagles soar at eye level over the plains below and by night, marvel at the magnificence of millions of stars under the African night sky. Your private balcony is the perfect place to have a glass of sherry and watch the moon rising over the mountains.

The Manyoni Private Game Reserve lies in the heart of Zululand, an area that is world reknowned for its spectacular game viewing, rich cultural traditions, and conservation history. Initially formed as part of the WWF black rhino range expansion project, Manyoni has become one of the premier big five safari destinations in Kwa-Zulu Natal with a strong focus on endangered species conservation, including the reintroduction of cheetah and wild dogs. Conveniently located only 3 hours from Durban and 6 hours from Johannesburg
