Trip Summary

Spend 2-nights at Wild Ivory Eco Lodge in Welgevonden Game Reserve and enjoy a truly wild, in-the-bush experience. All meals and 2 daily game drives included.

Wild Ivory Eco Lodge is a Big 5 Game Lodge situated in Welgevonden Game Reserve in the malaria-free Limpopo Province. This exclusive tented bush lodge is located in one of the ‘sweeter’ bushveld areas of the well-established Big 5 Game Reserve, in the heart of the UNESCO Waterberg Biosphere Reserve. Wild Ivory is the ideal destination for your wildlife and photographic safari experience. The pristine Waterberg biosphere is one of the least populated areas and one of the best wildlife areas in Southern Africa. The Lodge is elevated and overlooks a wooded plain, a private waterhole and allows for beautiful and uninterrupted views of the reserve, right up to the Waterberg escarpment far into the distance. In summer watch spectacular electrical thunderstorms roll in, and at night star-gaze in wonder at the magnificent milky-way. The main lodge boasts a comfortable lounge and reception area with a large outside viewing deck and swimming pool overlooking a private water-hole below.

Wild Ivory is one of the few lodges in South Africa which is eco-friendly and has a low impact on the environment. Wild Ivory is an exclusive Eco Lodge and caters for a maximum of 14 persons. Guests are accommodated in luxury tents with stunning views and spacious, well-appointed bathrooms. Large double beds and outside loungers allow you to relax in complete comfort in a true wilderness setting.
