Trip Summary

Watch the morning light strike Table Mountain from Lions Head, a peak slap bang in the middle of the city. Enjoy the 360 degree views of the city before heading towards Cape Point, stopping at each suburb along the coast, before circulating the peninsula and ending the tour with sundowners at Cape Point Vineyards.

Watch the morning light strike Table Mountain from Lions Head, a peak slap bang in the middle of the city, enjoying 360 degree views of the city.

At Kalk Bay we explore the working fishing harbour to meet the colourful and entertaining fishing folk. Browse the bohemian and arty shops and do a short hike through what feels like a ‘pixie and fairy’ Milkwood forest.

Heading to Simon’s Town, we will find our own rogue Penguins on a secret beach only accessible to the locals. For lunch we go local at Salty Sea Dogs, a local fish and chip shop with a lot of history within Simons Town Harbour itself.

In the Cape Peninsula Reserve we explore the shipwrecks, secluded beaches and wildlife of the Peninsula on foot. The return journey back along the Atlantic side is a story of amazing views, hidden local cafes and water holes.
