Your guide will join you over to Robben Island to help make the incredible story come alive. Whilst on the island we will join the island tour ending with a tour of the cells with an ex-political prisoner.
The afternoon is spent exploring the highlights of the Cape Peninsula looking for any excuse to embrace the ocean and explore one of the most unique marine habitats in the world.
Your guide will help make the incredible story come alive whilst travelling to Robben Island. En route you will view Cape Town from an entirely new perspective with your guide pointing out landmarks that will otherwise go unnoticed.
When on Robben Island you will join the Island tour, the majority of which are led by ex-prisoners themselves. Hear the incredible story of one prisoner who became South Africa's first democratically elected President.
After visiting Robben Island which takes approximately 3.5 Hours, you will head to the peninsula with your guide and private driver, stopping for lunch on route. The aim of our peninsula afternoon is to stop often take in all the highlights, from Kalk Bay, Simon's Town and the colony of African Penguins to Cape Point.
After visiting Cape Point we’ll explore deeper into the peninsula heading off to deserted wild beaches to either Stand Up Paddle or dive amongst the kelp forests.
We will visit Cape Point Vineyards, with the best Atlantic sunset views anywhere in South Africa, before returning to base.
