Trip Summary

We will pick you up at your hotel and take you to the AquaRio. We invite you to visit AquaRio, the largest aquarium in Latin America. The aquarium is located in the harbor zone and is located in a former cold store in an area that extends over four floors and a basement. It is home to 8,000 animals of 350 different species, including sharks, rays, and fish. A portion of AquaRio's resources go to research programs in Brazil that focus on marine biology, environmental issues and sustainability.

During the tour we can take pictures (no flash, please) in areas such as the Oceanic and Diving Area, the largest tank in the aquarium with a capacity of 3.3 million liters of water and a depth of seven meters. At the same time we learned a little more about life in water and the effects of our actions on its ecosystem. Towards the end of the hike we pass a tunnel and see the water above us, which gives a unique feeling.
This is an unforgettable experience for the whole family!

We took the opportunity to see urban art in the streets on Olympic Boulevard. See the largest graffiti in the world: Mural das Etnias by Brazilian artist Kobra.

At the end of the tour we will return to the hotel.
