MINDO NATURE TOUR

The small town of Mindo is located in a semi-tropical area of cloud forest north-west of Quito and is famous for exquisite nature such as waterfalls, rivers, butterflies, orchids, and abundant birdlife including many hummingbirds. There is also a selection of adventure activities such as hiking, canopy ziplining and river tubing to enjoy, as well as a local chocolate workshop where delicious bars are made from natural ingredients. You can also visit the butterfly farm and take a refreshing swim in one of the waterfalls!

MINDO ADVENTURE

Mindo has a variety of rivers and waterfalls that will not only offer you some great sights, but also allow you to join some great adventures and extreme sports, such as canopy, rappelling or tubing. In case you rather stay with both feet on the (dry) ground, you can enjoy some great walks and enjoy nature. The adventure begins with the Canopy, which has 13 zip lines of different lengths ranging from 20 to 400 meters. Therefore, it has different characteristics for all adventurers of all ages. Another activity, that you can practice is floating down the river in a giant inner tube (rubber ring), the level of adrenalin depends on the water level.

Not all of these activities can be fitted into a single day but you do have the flexibility to choose which ones you prefer – just discuss with your guide when he picks you up.
