Trip Summary

A day of contrasts starting at the ocean and ending in the Constantia Wine Valley. The aim of the day is to explore the highlights of the Cape Peninsula, looking for any excuse to embrace the ocean and the great outdoors. Learn to surf with your private surfing wine guide before a well-deserved afternoon uniting passions, visiting the region's top wine farms in the Constantia Valley.

Let the aroma of the best coffee in Muizenberg, gear you up for the waves awaiting you! The early morning will be spent in Muizenberg where we will enjoy a tour of WAWA surfboard Shop in Muizenberg, here they build wooden surfboards that are inspired by the intuited hydronamic genius of the ancient Hawaiian board builders. Handcrafted, Wawa boards allow for a wave sliding experience that, until recently, lay buried in the dust of museums.

The morning will be spent in Muizenberg where we will spend our time enjoying a surf lesson, the best place to get to grips with riding the waves in South Africa under the guidance of your Adventure Guide before chasing the swell around the peninsula. You will don a wetsuit, get all geared up and by the end of the morning, you will be a pro on the waves amongst all the locals!

Next, we make our way towards the Constantia wine region, our first stop at Steenberg Wine Estate. Here we will enjoy a delicious lunch at Bistro1682.

Steenberg Wine Estate offers guests a selection of wine tasting experiences, with a Wine Tasting Bar, Tasting Lounge and Outdoor Terrace to choose from. With infinity pools and reflective water features set before some of the most remarkable scenery in Cape Town, you will be able to relax and appreciate the natural beauty and architecture around you. What could be better than reclining on the couches and tasting the best wines of Steenberg, without a care in the world.

Winding down the afternoon, we will make our way along the Constantia Wine Valley for a wine tasting at Beau Constantia. Beau Constantia is a boutique wine farm situated very high up on the Constantia Mountains where meticulous attention to detail in the vineyard leads to distinctive handcrafted wines.
