Your adventure from Noosa with The Discovery Adventure Groupbegins with a drive toward Cooloola National Park, a significant Aboriginal site and the gateway to Fraser Island. At 75 miles (120 km) long and 15 miles (24 km) wide, Fraser Island is considered to be the largest sand island in the world. Its home to a diverse range of birds, reptiles and amphibians, including the occasional saltwater crocodile. Stop for morning tea at Rainbow Beach with its palette of multi-coloured sand cliffs; legend has it the colours were created by an Aboriginal rainbow spirit who crashed and fell into the sands. Next, cross by vehicular ferry on to Fraser Island, and drive along Seventy- Five Mile Beach – “The Great Sandy Highway”. Your purpose-built 4WD Warrior allows great off-road access and has large windows, so you won’t miss a thing. To fully appreciate the remote beauty, take a guided walk into the rainforest for a bit of bird-spotting, and see other species of wildlife in their natural habitat. While you enjoy the scenery of one of Fraser Islands many beautiful sights you can satisfy your hunger pangs with a selection of deli meats and assorted salads and build your own delicious wraps for lunch. After enjoying time to stretch your legs, jump back into the Bus and travel down sandy tracks through towering brushbox trees to a remote beach. This is where you’ll enjoy afternoon tea before returning to Noosa.

As of 30th June All Bookings for clients staying in accommodations along the Coast From Mooloolaba to Sunrise Beach will need to drive to the main pickup at The Jetty, 186 Gympie Terrace, Noosaville. Pickup time from the Jetty is 6.00am. Free All day parking is available in this area.
