Overnight Mokoro Trip 2024

You will be picked up by vehicle at approximately 13h00 and transferred to Tswii. Journey time is approximately 1
hour. You will meet your guides and polers who will be with you for your campout on the island. After a
short briefing you will start your Mokoro trip through the waterways hearing about all the flora and fauna along the
way. On reaching the island there is the opportunity to do a short bush walk or simply relax and explore the camp.
Sun-downers can be enjoyed down by the river before a dinner is served around the roaring campfire. The camp is
set up prior to your arrival with comfortable stretcher beds in 2 man tents, a bar, dining area and bush showers and
toilets. After a night out under the stars, you will be woken to the smell of coffee and rusks. For those that want to
stretch their legs there is the chance to go out for another bush walk before a cooked breakfast. At about 09h00 you
will head back to the station by Mokoro to meet your vehicle to return back to Maun for about 13h00.
