Embrace the oceans and take to the waves with an expert surfer who will guide you in the water! Your last day in the Cape will be memorable and you will be able to truly enjoy the real surfer culture and laidback vibe that this city has to offer in its beautiful setting.
Let the aroma of the best coffee in Muizenberg, gear you up for the waves awaiting you! The early morning will be spent in Muizenberg where we will spend our time enjoying a surf session, the best place to get to grips with riding the waves in South Africa under the guidance of your Adventure Guide before chasing the swell around the peninsula. You will don a wetsuit, get all geared up, and by the end of the morning, you will be a pro on the waves amongst all the locals!
Should any of the family members perhaps not wish to surf - the alternative morning activity would be to have an in-depth guided tour of the Norval Foundation which offers a unique world-class Sculpture Park, a triple volume Atrium as well as unique art gallery spaces.
For lunch, we will head to the top of the Constantia Valley, to a family-friendly wine farm that overlooks the scenic region - wine farms to choose from: Groot Constantia, Constantia Uitsig Blockhouse Restaurant. Indulge in a delicious style lunch prior to spending the afternoon exploring the region.
The children (and the adults too should they wish!) can spend the afternoon with an adventure at Acrobranch, a treetop experience dedicated to offering children and adults alike a unique adventure as they move from tree to tree in lush, green forests.
Also, an option for the day would be to visit the award-winning Kirstenbosch Gardens, spending time exploring the lush gardens and learning about the fascinating Cape Flora. With its rolling green hills and amazing treetop canopy walk, Kirstenbosch is an amazing destination for the whole family as the kids can run wild while the adults get an in-depth botany experience.
