Trip Summary

Beginning at Sea Level and ending with elevated views of the city, this day focus on exploring the Atlantic Seaboard in a fun and engaging way for children. We will take in the city sites before seeing them from a different perspective on the mountain top.

Start your day as a true local, by making your way to the bustling Sea Point Promenade for an active morning along this beautiful coastal promenade. You will have the option to cycle along the promenade on cruiser bicycles should you wish to. There are bicycles of all sizes suitable for the whole family. Explore the 11 art installations that tackle subjects ranging from Rhino conservation to the 18 years Nelson Mandela spent on Robben Island. Depending on your energy levels, you will be able to enjoy a gentle cycle along the promenade.

Continue your day in the most exciting and active way possible - Stand Up Paddle OR kayak on the calm canals of the city's V&A Waterfront.

Next at the V&A Waterfront, we explore the Watershed's stylish local crafts and designs, and township art projects, geared towards community upliftment. After finishing your cycle drop off your bikes at the Silo District in the V&A Waterfront.

Enjoy a much-deserved lunch at one of Cape Town's local hot spots where the kids can get involved and make their own pizzas and bread!

Your ascending cable car reveals increasingly breathtaking views over the city and an endless sea until you stand atop iconic Table Mountain. Leave the noise behind and hike away from the crowds, keeping watch for wildlife and rare plants - if you can tear your eyes from the vistas. Enjoy the fauna and flora and the breathtaking views on your way to the top and once you reach the peak, take in the 360-degree views while tracking Dassies that can often be spotted on the tabletop. On top of Table Mountain, we will take a short hike away from the crowds whilst our guide brings alive the history of Cape Town combining the elevated view over the city with turn-of-the-century photographs to highlight the changes in the city.

Reward your taste buds with a decadent treat, and enjoy a delicious artisanal chocolate.
