From coast to vineyard, your next stop is the Constantia wine region, just a short drive from Muizenberg but worlds away in pace and setting.
Enjoy a leisurely lunch at Bistro1682 on the historic Steenberg Estate, where innovative cuisine is paired with signature wines and views over manicured gardens. After lunch, settle in for a wine tasting at one of Steenberg’s inviting spaces, whether at the Tasting Lounge, Wine Bar, or shaded Outdoor Terrace. Each setting offers a chance to savour award-winning wines with views stretching toward Cape Town’s distant skyline.
As the afternoon continues, wind your way up to Beau Constantia, a boutique winery perched high on the Constantia mountains. Here, the wines are handcrafted with precision, and the panoramic views over the valley are simply unforgettable.
