Enjoy a delicious picnic in a setting of unsurpassed natural beauty.

Expert guides will welcome you to this unforgettable adventure, where you will pass along the Atlantic coast on a wonderful scenic route to the southernmost point in Africa, the famous Cape Point. Set within the Table Mountain National Park, you will find breathtaking oceanfront views, diverse vegetation and rich history of this great country reflected at every step.

The day ends with a picnic taking in the breathtaking views that the mother city has on offer.

Your guide will collect you up from your hotel and after a short drive through the city, you will begin your journey along the wonderful coastal path traveling through the beautiful coastal settlements in Muizenberg, Kalk Bay, Fish Hoek and Simons Town. A stop will be made at the famous Boulders Beach, its wind sheltered bays and safe sandy shores are home to a breeding colony of over 2,000 endangered African Penguins. Here you can have a unique, close encounter with these tuxedoed little birds, endemic to this region.

You will then continue along the coast towards False Bay, one of the Cape Peninsula’s most tranquil and picturesque stretches of coastline, before reaching Cape Point Nature Reserve. Cape Point lies within the Table Mountain National Park, a declared Natural World Heritage site. Here you’ll discover some of the rich and varied flora and fauna which make this nature-lover’s paradise.

After enjoying a gourmet picnic lunch, your guide will continue with a tour around the park visiting historic sites and taking in beautiful landscapes such as the lighthouses of the peninsula and the famous Cape of Good Hope. Continuing through the small coastal districts of Scarborough and Kommetjie you will enter the mountain pass of Chapman’s Peak (weather permitting), this world famous scenic drive is the last great experience before the end of the tour as you head back to your hotel.
