The day is off to an early start, departing your hotel at 07h00 and enjoying the drive to the coastal town of Hermanus for a boat based, whale watching trip.
On arrival at Southern Right Charters, you have a short safety briefing followed by some light snacks, tea and coffee. The boat departs for a 2 - 3 hour trip where you can get close to these magnificent creatures without disturbing them.
You return to the mainland and do a short tour of the Old Harbour before going into the town for lunch at one of the local restaurants. (lunch is for your own account).
After lunch you have some free time to explore the town and do some shopping before returning to Cape Town.
You arrive back at your hotel in the late afternoon.
