Trip Summary

The Cape Winelands is home to over 120 Vineyards, each with varying way in which we can explore and learn about how they produce their Grapes. Our day will focus on exploring four estates in a fun and engaging way for both adults and Children.

Our morning begins as we leave Cape Town in our Adventure Utility Vehicle (AUV) and take the scenic coastal route into the winelands. First stop is Eikendal Estate at the foot of the Helderberg Mountains, and we will explore the estate and walk amongst the vines before a wine tasting session, with cookie decorating for the kids. The tour leads us to Boschendal, where we will tour the expansive grounds in a horse and carriage, on mountain bikes, or on foot with our Adventure Guide. Parents have the option of joining the kids as they explore, or enjoying a cellar tour and wine tasting session, before meeting up for a Wild Picnic on the rolling lawns.

In the afternoon, we will visit La Motte Wine Estate. Here, parents can enjoy some of the fine wines while the kids try a game of chess on the giant outdoor board, or paint and play. Our last stop is at Warwick Wine Estate, with a jungle gym and splash pool for the kids and yet more superb wine tasting for parents before heading back to Cape Town.
