Days 1 - 4: Cape Town

Your adventure starts when arriving at the Cape Town International Airport. Upon arrival you will be met by a Trip.me representative an accompanied to the car rental depot to collect your car.

Spend four days exploring the Cape in your hired car ticking off the big attractions: Table Mountain, Robben Island, V&A Waterfront, Kirstenbosch, Cape Point and the beautiful beaches and wine farms all around you.

Of course there are many other attractions including nature reserves, hiking trails, ocean excursions, galleries, museums and a variety of shopping precincts. You could spend a lifetime exploring Cape Town and still find daily surprises.

Days 5 - 7: Knysna

After breakfast and check out formalities, you transfer to the Cape Town International Airport to return the hired car and board your flight to George (50 minute flight). Upon arrival you will be met and accompanied to the car rental depot. The Garden Route is the most scenic drive for a self-drive holiday! Take your time soaking up the sun on one of the many beaches, ride an ostrich in Oudtshoorn, take a cruise on the Knysna Lagoon - the choice is yours.

Check into your lovely hotel situated near the Knysna Waterfront.

Just a short distance (15 minutes drive) from Knysna lies the seaside holiday town of Plettenberg Bay. Plettenberg Bay has a choice of broad beaches with warm foamy waves, and when you tire of the sand between your toes there are excellent golf courses, hiking trails and numerous nature reserves nearby to head for.

A 25-minute drive from Plettenberg Bay, The Crags is home to a number of wildlife sanctuaries and is where to go on the Garden Route for unforgettable holiday activities: visit the Elephant Sanctuary and walk hand in trunk with an orphaned baby elephant; wander through the forest at Monkeyland while monkeys from all over the world swing through the branches above you; and spend a few unforgettable hours at Birds of Eden – the largest free-flight aviary in the world. The Tenikwa Wildlife Centre is also close by to enjoy a the big and small cat experience.

Days 8 - 9: Addo Elephant National Park

After an early breakfast and check out, you make your way to Addo National Park (3 hour drive). En route you'll pass through the seaside holiday town of Plettenberg Bay. Plettenberg Bay has a choice of broad beaches with warm foamy waves, and when you tire of the sand between your toes there are excellent golf courses, hiking trails and numerous nature reserves nearby to head for.

The worlds highest Bungee Jump is located on the Bloukrans Bridge and then the Big Tree. Stop over at the Tsitsikamma National Park for a fantastic short walk through the forest and over the Storms River mouth.

Day 10: End of Itinerary, Cape Town

Today is your last day in Addo. After a final game drive and breakfast, you check out and make your way to Port Elizabeth Airport (1 hour drive) to return the hired car and to board your flight home.
