Day 2: Karatu

After breakfast we head towards the Tarangire National Park, we will register at the gate and continue with game drives for the rest of the day as we explore the African wilderness for the last day of our safari. This park is famous for its large populations of elephants and its gigantic age-old baobabs, but it has much more to offer in terms of many animals and birds that are resident to this park. We expect to see lions, cheetahs, warthogs, gazelles, dik-diks, the rare long-necked gerenuks and many more. Later in the afternoon, we will drive to Karatu for overnight.

Day 3: Seronera

After breakfast we head towards the central Serengeti National Park, also known as the Seronera. We descend into the heart of wild Africa-the Serengeti National Park-with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. We head to the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attract wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species.

Day 4: Seronera

On this day you will spend your time at the Serengeti plains doing game drives. Here you have the choice to do the early morning game drives if you so wish. This will give you the chance to see nocturnal species retire from a night out as well as the diurnal majority waking up for a new day. Day 5: Central Serengeti

On  this day we will  drive exploring the Northern Serengeti to  tracking Migration.

From June to October it is the best time to witness the magnificent natural phenomenon of the ‘Great migration’ where more than one and a half million wildebeests accompanied by hundreds of
thousands of gazelles and zebras brave the crocodile infested rivers and cross the border into the Masai Mara in Kenya in search of green pastures and water. The resident animals and birds that stay all year round in Serengeti makes sure that the park is must visit whenever one travels to
Tanzania.

Day 6: Central Serengeti

On this day will be spent doing game drives in Northern Serengeti areas including the Lobo
area, the Bologonja areas and the Kogatende areas including a visit to the Mara River Banks on
the Tanzanian sides to try and see the River crossing of the Wildebeests migration herds
accompanied by some zebras and gazelles. During this time also many predators and big cats
follow the animals to this area and so it is likely to see some spectacular wildlife actions like
hunting. Overnight will be at  Mara Kati Kati.

Day 9: Karatu

In the morning after breakfast you will drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and after registration you will descend to the Crater Floor. You will drive down the Ngorongoro Crater walls to the Crater floor where we will spend the better part of the day doing game drives in this 8th wonder of the world also referred to as the Eden of Africa. Here we will get the chance to spot the animals that we might have missed at Serengeti with a little luck you can spot the Big 5 that is; Elephants, Lions,Leopards, Buffaloes, and Rhinos, in a single day’s game drive then in the late evening we will drive to Karatu for overnight.

Day 10: Moshi

Lake Manyara is a beautiful little park which is famous for its tree-climbing lions, elephants and large troops of baboons. The park is home to an amazing variety of birds and animals considering its small size. A short visit to this serene park will greatly diversify your safari experience as the lush green jungle habitat is of stark contrast to the other parks you will visit during your safari, in the late afternoon you drive to Arusha for overnight and this will be the end of the safari.

Day 11: End of Itinerary

We will transfer you from the hotel to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) where you will fly back home. If you will have more time you can extend your trip to Zanzibar, but additional cost will be required.
